This position is a challenging and exciting opportunity for a highly skilled teacher to help students learn subject matter, and skills, that will contribute to their development as mature, able, and responsible young adults. The primary responsibility of this position is to address Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS) through 7th and 8th grade science classes, while also providing a commitment to STEM Education. While the direction of this position will rely heavily on the creativity and ownership of the staff member in this position, the district places an emphasis on supporting the development of students through career pathway exploration, as well as to address school wide initiatives through the subject matter.
