We are looking for an Elementary Receptionist to join the Sound Christian Academy team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support to school staff, students, and parents. The ideal candidate must have excellent communication and organization skills, as well as be able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously. They will work closely with the school's administration and faculty to ensure that all administrative tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
Responsibilities:
- Answering phone calls and directing them to the appropriate person or department
- Greeting visitors and ensuring they sign in and out of the school
- Maintaining school records, including student attendance and enrollment
- Organizing and filing documents
- Ordering and maintaining office supplies
- Managing the Health room and helping students with ice packs, phone calls home, etc.
- Work directly with the Dean of Elementary to create specialist schedules, manage volunteers, recesses, and lunch orders
- Recording payments for school fees, student lunches, and special events and reporting to the finance office
- Assisting with event planning and coordination
- Managing incoming and outgoing mail and email
- Handling confidential information in a professional and discreet manner
- Managing school calendar and calendars of administration
- Providing administrative support to the school's administration and faculty
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree preferred
- At least 2 years of experience in an office setting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Work, Excel, Outlook) and Teams
- Ability to work independently and as a part of a team
- Experience is school or educational setting
- Previous experience using LMS system
